Winter Essentials to Springtime

I feel like this outfit (tunic sweater, leggings, & boots) is a staple in New England women's closets. But how do you take this winter uniform and bring some life/springtime to it? ACCESSORIZE MWAHAHA! But seriously, all I did was add a scarf, top coat, and belt, and this outfit took a complete transformation. It also helps if you wear a scarf differently. I wore it as a shawl, then took my cute little braided belt and put it over it, voila.

But this outfit in general I think is an essential for Winter, Spring and Fall — and I'm obsessed with this sweater from Wool Overs, and love how it has the Woolmark approval logo. Not only is it really soft being a cashmere blend, but the ribbing around the hips keeps it in place. It has that loose feel like a tunic sweater should but also has a fitted look, so I don't look boxy. This becomes a huge problem when you have hips. This is a MUST-HAVE sweater!
