Black trench with stripes and leather

During the winter I wear a lot of black and white.

Just kidding... I wear a lot of black and white year round. There's something about wearing black boots, black leggings, and a black trench, that you can't help but feel you're going to fight some crime—or create some. I basically try to channel Buffy daily in my fashion. If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter (@thoughtfulwish) then you definitely know my love for Buffy. How could you not, she's sexy, real, fighting her own demons every day, while still trying to keep it together: she's my idol.

It's still cold in Boston, so I've just decided that I'll freeze to death fashionably. The amount of layers I have on to go to work is pathetic: I'm just a blob of cotton and wool, I have no gender. I feel bad for those who are sexually attracted to the female body, because right now, there's no sign of female life forms, just winter coats. But just because it's cold doesn't mean you can't layer fashionably. For a colder day, I would put one of those super long topcoats on over this trench, a scarf, and suck it up.

p.s. It's an obligation to do one "flasher" photo in a trench. Rules.
