If you have a holiday party to go to, this is the dress. This Ted Baker dress is comfortable, sexy, and fun to play with. It has thick jacquard fabric for warmth, flirty cut out details, and a flattering aline silhouette. I noticed the stripe pattern under the dress and needed to show it off, so I found a gold pin at home (it use to be my Grandmother's) and bustled up the dress, to create a dramatic feature and to show off the glittery pattern underneath. I wore this dress the Harvard Fashion Show, and needless to say, it turned heads. I love taking dresses and changing something about them to make them unique. Get the look below!
Continuing the green summer style, I'd like to formally introduce you to Mr. Salty. If you follow me on instagram, you've probably already met him. But I'm obsessed with him! Also, Nothing like a fun puffy skirt for a fun summer look.
But besides fashion, I've been "training" for a Tough Mudder, aka just for the last two weeks, which is why I haven't really posted. Note to self: train for more than two weeks. The Tough Mudder is 10 miles through mud and tons of obstacles. But I swear I did more walking than Frodo Baggins - my thighs kill! Also, I forgot to reapply sunscreen, my shoulders are burnt! This week I will live in soft sports bras. It was very hard doing this shoot in wedges, I feel the Tough Mudder was definitely one of the toughest events I've done physically, but try wearing heels afterwards, that's what I call tough.

I don't know about you, but I love jewelry, my favorite is an all black outfit with a pop of color or sparkle to help you stand out. But I recently met Kelly Allen, who not only loves jewelry, she's one of the top sellers in it!
Allen was on Pinterest like the rest of us, but not only was she getting inspired by jewelry, she decided to make it her business. After all, if you're doing something you love for work, you'll never work another day in your life. "I fell in love with a jewelry post about C+I (Chloe and Isabel), I researched it online and became a merchandiser with out a second thought!. I love the jewelry and the quality," Allen said. Talk about "pinspiration."
What truly amazes me about Allen is she only started over three months ago, and is already one of the top merchandisers! She says C+I she gets support from everyone, and it's more than a business, but a community that runs on a "friendship philosophy." I can see why she loves it so much: being in charge of your own Small Business with great support, and did I mention the jewelry is gorgeous!?
The jewelry is designed in NYC, hypoallergenic, lead and nickel free and backed by lifetime replacement guarantee.
What Allen does that's really exciting is not only does she have her own site to sell the jewelry, she gives her customers monthly specials. "This month I'm offering a free matching item from our new Take Heart Collection with purchase from collection. I also offer a monthly giveaway on Facebook, coupons, and styling tips," she said.
If you want an in person/online styling session, sessions are $30 and spend $100, the session is free, you can contact Kelly Allen here (P.S. to my Boston readers, she's local for us... yah! The Superbowl and now this?! Wins for everyone!):
With Valentine's Day coming up I wanted to share some of my top 10 favorites from Allen's page (aka T, are you reading this?). (click on each image to go to the link)
I know the world has changed, and now everyone gets included more during the holidays (Thank you Buzzfeed), but as a Jewish Girl, there's still that little bit of sadness around Christmas. You get so excited for Channukah, start shopping for gifts (before the season deals, because it always comes before Christmas - so that sucks), and you just get a little sad. I can't explain it. You're on Pinterest and people have the cute centerpieces for Christmas, You see a gorgeous house with beautiful lights (Hello, we're the ones with the festival of lights!), you can't escape. For me today, it was an article about "30 stocking stuffers under $30." Tonight is Channukah, what about "8 gifts that are larger than your 8 candles" - that would be nice (I'm sorry I didn't create something like that sooner!). So I thought I'd share this Etsy page with you that I think is awesome and mainly because I want the Menelephant!
So Happy Channukah everyone! I know that you feel like Channukah Armadillo sometimes, but we're just as fun!
Oh and here's the reasoning behind my title - just a little something to cheer up my fellow Jewish Gals.
Are you ready for NYE? No? Head over to Express, my go to for an affordable outfit for a night. If you're on pinterest like I am, I'm sure you've seen the photo of Mila Kunis in a sequin tribal skirt and black blouse, and envied the crap out of it. Well, Express was A) having a huge sale, and B) have 3 different sequin tribal skirts available. This outfit is so much fun, the skirt has an elastic waistband so I won't feel restricted when I'm dancing, drinking.... and of course eating.
